About
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been curious about the deeper layers beneath everyday life — those quiet questions we often carry but rarely speak aloud. My early fascination with the occult never entirely left me, even as I pursued a conventional path in medicine. Along the way, I trained in anaesthesia, earned a Fellowship with the Royal College of Anaesthetists, and developed a strong grounding in physiology, pharmacology, and the study of consciousness itself.
What began as a professional interest in hypnosis gradually opened into a much wider exploration of mysticism, spirituality, and the many traditions that have tried — each in their own way — to describe the journey of the mind and heart. Over the past 25 years, my personal studies have drawn me into a wide range of texts and teachings: from the Bhagavad Gita and Gnostic scriptures to the Kabbalah, Buddhism (Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna), and the Tibetan writings of Longchenpa and Padmasambhava. Each has offered something, and all have shaped my perspective.
At a certain point, reading and learning became something more lived — a quiet but decisive commitment to inner work, marked by what some traditions call Sakadāgāmi — the ‘once-returner.’
I don’t claim to have answers. Every path is unique. What I can offer are simply my own observations — small moments of clarity gathered along the way — in case they prove helpful to others navigating similar ground.
When not writing or studying, I enjoy publishing, running a local writing group, building websites, exploring new technologies (including AI), and simply spending time with family and friends.
